Amazon RDS o11y¶
Enhance observability for Amazon RDS Custom for SQL Server using Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus and Amazon Managed Grafana, by my colleagues Mike George and Praneeth Reddy Tekula.
Via the CNCF blog: Inside Prometheus + the PCA exam gives you some nice insights into the Prometheus Certified Associate (PCA).
Some exciting OTel tooling I came across:
- nginxinc/nginx-otel provides support for OpenTelemetry distributed tracing in Nginx.
- nimbushq/otel-validator is a VS Code extension that you can use to validate OpenTelemetry collector configuration files.
