OpenSearch & OTel metrics¶
Using OpenSearch to visualize metrics ingested with OpenTelemetry by Karsten Schnitter (SAP) is a really interesting blog post via the official OpenSearch blog. In it, Karsten explains OpenSearch metrics support, effectively integrating an external Prometheus data source such as Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus, and shows the OTel pipeline in action.

OTel collector performance¶
